DAY 1: HANOI – HALONG BAY – LAN HA BAY

07:30 Shuttle pick-up from your hotel in Hanoi’s Old Quarter for transfer to Ha Long – Lan Ha Bay (for guests who have booked limousine or shuttle services).

11:30 Check-in at the Waiting Lounge Le Journey Cruises at No.12 Tuan Chau Harbor.

12:15 Board the transfer boat to Le Journey Elegance Cruise.

A welcome drink is served as you check in, and the Cruise Manager gives a safety briefing and an introduction to the cruise schedule.

13:00 Savor a delicious lunch whilst enjoying the majestic views of Lan Ha Bay – an extension of Halong Wonder which is much quieter and has fewer tourists. We will pass the famous Turtle Islet, Candle Islet and thousands of uniquely shaped limestone towers and islands.

15:00 Explore the Tra Bau area. Joining the kayaking & swimming experience to explore the Tra Bau area – the famous filming location for Kong Skull Island (King Kong) in Quang Ninh in 2018.

17:00 Return to Le Journey Elegance Cruise for a Sunset Party & Cooking Class. Join our HAPPY HOUR: Buy 02 get 01 drink while enjoying the amazing scenery while watching the sunset over the sundeck

17:30 The chef will guide you in making Traditional Vietnamese Fresh Spring rolls, which you’ll get to savor afterward

19:00 SPECIAL: A romantic candlelit dinner served on the Sundeck (depends on weather conditions) featuring gourmet Vietnamese cuisine crafted by the cruise’s 5-star chefs

21:00 After dinner, you will enjoy the peaceful view of the Bay at night on the deck. You can also participate in evening activities such as herbal foot bath (free) and enjoy drinks at Sky Bar (chargeable), massage (chargeable) and admire the peaceful scenery of Lan Ha Bay at night and participate in the squid fishing program at the boat.

DAY 2: LAN HA BAY – HALONG BAY – HANOI

06:15 Start your day with a Taichi session on the sundeck, taking in the tranquility of the bay. For a chance to see the sunrise, wake up between 5:30 – 6:00 AM, with guidance from the crew.

06:30 Enjoy light breakfast with tea, coffee, and pastries as the cruise heads to the next destination.

07:15 Transfer by tender to Gia Luan Port and then by car (20 minutes) to Hospital Cave.

08:00 Quan Y Cave is a unique site that serves both as a historical relic and a powerful reminder of a heroic wartime era. Built inside a limestone mountain, the cave once functioned as a secret field hospital during the resistance war against the Americans. It was fully equipped with treatment rooms, a recovery area, and even a cinema for wounded soldiers.

09:00 Return to the Le Journey Elegance Cruise

09:30 Complete the check-out procedures, and return your room key to the reception.

10:00 A brunch is served as the cruise heads back to the harbor. Relax on the sundeck, taking in the serenity of the UNESCO World Heritage site.

11:00 Transfer boat will return you to the Tuan Chau Harbor Waiting Lounge. Guests using shuttle services may opt for a cycling tour on Tuan Chau Island after check-out. End of the tour.

DAY 2: LAN HA BAY – VIET HAI VILLAGE – CAT BA ISLAND

06:15 Start your day with a Taichi session on the sundeck, or wake early (5:30-6:00) for sunrise experience.

07:00 Enjoy a light breakfast with tea, coffee, and pastries as the cruise heads to the next destination.

08:00 The transfer boat will take guests across Lan Ha Bay to the Viet Hai village. From there, guests will enjoy a short 5km bike ride to Viet Hai Village—a small, secluded village nestled within ancient forests and surrounded by the towering mountains of Cat Ba National Park. This area has become popular among foreign visitors but has yet to attract the majority of tourists, preserving its untouched, pristine charm.

12:00 Return to the transfer boat for lunch at the onboard restaurant.

14:00 The transfer boat will take guests to a secluded beach area, very peaceful and with few tourists. Ba Trai Dao Beach – the most beautiful beach in Lan Ha Bay – features soft white sands, where you can freely swim or enjoy kayaking activities.

15:30 Back on Le Journey Elegance, where guests can enjoy a dip in the swimming pool on the second deck and admire the stunning sunset over Lan Ha Bay or experience therapeutic massage services right on board.

17:00 This is the best time to witness the sunset over the bay, as the evening light casts vibrant orange hues across the water, creating a breathtaking view that can only be experienced from the Le Journey Elegance Cruise.
